Eddig jutottam!

Eddig jutottam!

I got this far

Több ezer jelentkezőből, a középdöntőig jutott Máté Zsolt mester, a Máté Taekwondo és Hapkido Közhasznú Egyesület vezető edzője a Tv2 Ninja Warrior műsorában.

Máté Zsolt, the head coach of Máté Taekwondo and Hapkido finished in the semifinal of Ninja Warrior Hungary game show from thousands of applicants.

Stressz, ismeretlen közeg, nagy tét és kiváló versenyszellem. Ezekkel a szavakkal lehetne jellemezni a versenyt, amelyen Zsolt idáig eljutott.

Stress, unknown environment, big stakes and excellent spirit of competition. The competition, where Zsolt got this far can be characterized with these words.

„The pressure on all of us was huge. It was an enormous stress that the the team members changed. From the 50 people of the qualifier only 15 remained by the end. The fight was real, there was real fire in the eyes of the competitors.” – started summarizing his thoughts.

One of the challenges was the course. None of the competitors had chance to check it closely. The checking of the course contained a walk next to the obstacles but they had to keep the rule of not touching anything. They could watch the ninjas go through each obstacle, but then they had to wait stressfully for their turn.

The other serious challenge was the situation itself.
„It was insuperable. Those who touch these obstacles for the first time, who stand in front of them for the first time can be in trouble. The fact that they announced that the next competitor will be me and than they changed their minds was an added bonus to the excitement. And after 3 or 4 times it caused a stressful nerve condition” – added Zsolt and told us that it depressed him very much.

When he stepped on the red carpet this state of mind pressed his shoulders and he had to fight off these obstacles. As he told the second obstacle was a divide for him, because without dynamism he could not jump out, but he struggled himself through. But instead of inspiring, this fact made him depressed.

A harmadik akadályt gond nélkül vette.

The third obstacle was easy for him. He managed to jump from the trampoline to the pole, the surprise came when he realized that it was not soft, but hard plastic. The big hit ended him physically and mentally in the Ninja Warrior.

„Afterwards I can say anything, but I think that I could have beat the rest of the obstacles. The toughest part of the competition were the jumps and arrivals, you could not prepare for them.”

„I am really glad that I tried it, maybe I will try it next year as well.”

Hozzátette, a legnagyobb ellenfele jövőre a stressz lesz. Azt kell, hogy legyőzze.

He added that the stress will be his biggest opponent next year, he will have to learn to defeat it.
